Print Warehouse - Items Inventory (whwmd2410m000)

Use this session to print warehouse inventory.

Item data is printed for each warehouse for the selected ranges of items and warehouses. The item data consists of:

  • General information: forecast data, order settings, and so on.
  • Item inventory: inventory on hand, inventory on order, inventory on hold, dates, and prices.
  • Item inventory totals: inventory on hand, inventory on order, allocated inventory, inventory on hold, quantity back ordered, consignment inventory on hand, consignment inventory on order and consignment inventory allocated.
  • Inventory outside boundaries.

Field Information

Detailed Report

If this check box is selected, you can print a detailed report of the item data and/or the item inventory by warehouse.

Item Data

If this check box is selected, all item data from the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session is printed.

Item Inventory

If this check box is selected, all item inventory data by warehouse is printed. This data is recorded in the Warehouse - Item Inventory (whwmd2115s000) session.

Inventory Totals

If this check box is selected, item inventory by warehouse totals are printed.

Note: This information can only be sorted by using the Item, Warehouse option in the Sort By field.
Inventory Totals by Effectivity Unit

If this check box is selected, effectivity unit by warehouse totals are printed.

You can view the effectivity unit by warehouse totals in the Inventory by Warehouse, Item and Effectivity Unit (whwmd2516m000) session.

Inventory Outside Boundaries

If this check box is selected, the items with the inventory outside specific boundaries are printed.

If the inventory level is lower than the lower boundary or higher than the upper boundary, the inventory level is printed.

You can select which print you want on the basis of the inventory on hand or the basis of the economic stock by selecting one or both of the following check boxes:

  • Select by Level of Inventory on Hand
  • Select by Level of Economic Stock

The lower boundary is a percentage of the safety stock and the upper boundary is a percentage of the maximum inventory.

Include Items without Inventory

If this check box is selected, items without inventory will be printed next to the items with inventory.

Note: 

With inventory means that the following inventory must be greater than zero:

  • Inventory on Hand
  • Inventory on Order
  • Allocated
Specific Warehouse Type

If this check box is selected, only data of items in a specific warehouse will be printed. You can select a type in the Warehouse Type field.

Warehouse Type

If the Specific Warehouse Type check box is selected, you can enter the specific warehouse type in this field.

Normal

A warehouse that stores normal inventory.

Service

A warehouse that stores the required inventory for a service area.

Service Customer Owned

A warehouse that stores the required inventory for a service area. All of the inventory stored is customer owned.

Service Reject

A warehouse used by Service that stores defective items received from customers.

Shop Floor

A warehouse that stores intermediate inventory in order to supply work cells, work centers, or line stations. A shop floor warehouse is linked to an individual work cell, one or more work centers, or one or more line stations. For this purpose, the shop floor warehouse is linked to the appropriate value of the Used at field in the Warehouses (whwmd2500m000) session.

Consignment (Not Owned)

A warehouse that stores consigned materials that have been delivered but are not yet company owned.

Consignment (Owned)

A warehouse that stores consigned materials that have been delivered and have either been used or have been acquired by the company for manufacturing a specific order.

Project

A warehouse that only stores materials that belong to a specific project.

Specific Cluster

A warehouse can belong to a specific cluster. For planning reasons it can be useful to print inventory for a specific cluster. This can be done by selecting the current check box and specifying the cluster in the Cluster field.

Cluster

If the Specific Cluster check box is selected, you can enter a specific cluster in this field.

Specific Item Warehouse Status

If this check box is selected, you can print item warehouse data for a specific item warehouse status. You can specify the item warehouse status in the Item Warehouse Status field.

Item Warehouse Status

The item warehouse status for which you print the item warehouse data.

Tentative

If the status is Tentative, you cannot yet use the warehouse and item combination in Warehousing . As a result, you cannot receive the item in the warehouse.

Active

If the status is Active, you can use the warehouse and item combination in Warehousing .

Note: If the item warehouse status is Active, you cannot change it to Tentative.
Currency

Currency in which the inventory is valued.

Text

If this check box is selected, the text related to the warehouse - item data is printed in the report.

Sort By

Reports can be sorted by:

  • Warehouse, Item. Items are first sorted by warehouse. If there is more than one item in the warehouse, these are sorted alphabetically.
  • Item, Warehouse. Items are sorted alphabetically. If an item is stored in more than one warehouse, the lines of the item are sorted by warehouse.
Note: If the Inventory Totals check box is selected, the report can only be sorted by Item, Warehouse.
Select by Level of Inventory on Hand

If this check box is selected, LN prints the items if they fall within the boundaries set by the following fields:

  • Lower Boundary as Percentage of Safety Stock
  • Upper Boundary as Percentage of Maximum Inventory
Lower Boundary as Percentage of Safety Stock

If the item inventory is lower than the percentage of the safety stock entered in this field, the item will be printed.

If you enter 100%, you define the safety stock as a lower boundary. You can deviate from this value by entering a percentage greater or less than 100.

Note: If you select the Select by Level of Inventory on Hand check box, this field is applicable.

Example

Safety Stock = 50

Lower boundary percentage = 110%

Lower boundary = 50 * 1.1 = 55

The item is printed if the inventory on hand is less than 55.

Upper Boundary as Percentage of Maximum Inventory

If the item inventory on hand is higher than the percentage of the maximum inventory entered in this field, the item will be printed.

If you enter 100%, you define the maximum inventory as an upper boundary. You can deviate from this value by entering another percentage.

Note: If you select the Select by Level of Inventory on Hand check box, this field is applicable.

Example

Maximum inventory = 100

Upper boundary percentage = 120%

Upper boundary = 100 * 1.2 = 120

If the inventory on hand is greater than 120, the item is printed.

Select by Level of Economic Stock

If this check box is selected, LN prints details of items whose economic stock level lies outside the boundaries set by the following fields:

  • Lower Boundary as Percentage of Safety Stock
  • Upper Boundary as Percentage of Maximum Inventory

You can also check on the item's time-phased inventory level by selecting the Time Fence Inventory Check check box.

If this check box is cleared, you do not want to select on the basis of the economic stock.

Lower Boundary as Percentage of Safety Stock

If the item's economic stock is lower than the percentage of the safety stock specified here, the item is printed. If you enter 100%, you define the safety stock as a lower boundary. You can deviate from this value by entering a percentage greater or less than

Note: If the Select by Level of Economic Stock check box is selected, this field is applicable.

Example

Safety stock = 50

Lower boundary percentage = 110%

Lower boundary = 50 * 1.1 = 55

If the economic stock is less than 55, the item is printed.

Upper Boundary as Percentage of Maximum Inventory

The item is printed if its economic stock is higher than the percentage of the maximum inventory specified here.

If you enter 100%, you define the maximum inventory as a higher boundary. You can deviate from this value by entering another percentage.

Note: If the Select by Level of Economic Stock check box is selected, this field is applicable.

Example

Maximum inventory = 100

Upper boundary percentage = 120%

Upper boundary = 100 * 1.2 = 120

If the economic stock is greater than 120, the item is printed.

Time Fence Inventory Check

If the Select by Level of Economic Stock check box is selected, the item's time-phased inventory level is checked while printing.

After that, the time-phased stock is calculated for the item on the basis of the planned inventory transactions and LN checks to see whether it lies outside the boundaries.

The available to promise (ATP) quantity is checked if:

  • The order system of an item is Planned
  • The Include in Enterprise Planning is selected for the warehouse in the Warehouses (tcmcs0503m000) session.
  • The Online ATP Update in EP check box is selected in the EP Parameters (cprpd0100m000) session.

After that, the time-phased stock is calculated for the item on the basis of the planned inventory transactions and LN checks to see whether it lies outside the boundaries.

Note: When a time fence of 0 is entered, the check is not performed.
Suppress Zero Amounts (and Related Cost Components)

If this check box is selected, the cost components with amount zero are not printed.

Note: You can only select or clear this checkbox if the Cost Details checkbox is selected.
