Generate Loading List (whinh4445m000)

Use this session to generate loading lists.

A loading list is a report that shows the loading sequence of the shipments of a load. The loading sequence is based on the planned load dates and the delivery addresses and you can specify whether the loading sequence must be ascending or descending.

In addition, a loading list provides information about the shipments of a load such as items, quantities, route details, packing instructions, and so on. This session enables you to specify the types of additional information that the report must include. To specify the type of additional information that you want to include in the report, select or clear the check boxes in the Print and Options group boxes of this session.

The report also includes an empty column titled Loaded Quantity, in which warehouse personnel can enter quantities of goods actually loaded, for example, if discrepancies occur between planned and actually loaded quantities.

Optionally, you can enter free text, for example, additional loading instructions, on the report. To enter free text, open the Instructions tab and write text as required in the text line fields.

To select the loads for which you want to create a loading list, use the Planned Loads or Staged Loads, Planned Loads or Staged Loads options, and the selection criteria fields in the Selection Range group box.

To print loading lists for the selected loads, select the appropriate print option and click Print.

For each selected load, a separate loading list is printed.

Field Information

Print Options

Allowed values

Generate Loading Sequence

The loading list resulting from the current settings and entries in this session is printed and the loading sequence for the shipments displayed on the loading list is stored in LN. If you selected the Staged Loads option, the loading sequence is filled in the Loading List Sequence field of the Shipments (whinh4130m000) session for the shipments included in the loading list. If you selected the Load Planning option, the loading sequence is filled in the Loading List Sequence field of the Planned Loads/Shipments (whinh4180m000) session.

Regenerate Loading Sequence

The loading list generated by means of the Generate Loading Sequence option is replaced and regenerated. The regenerated loading sequence is stored in LN as described previously.

Print

Reprints the loading list generated by means of the Generate Loading Sequence option.

Preview

The loading list resulting from the current settings and entries in this session is printed but not stored in LN.

Constraints

The Preview and Generate Loading Sequence do not generate loading lists for loads for which a loading sequence already exists. If loading sequences exist for all of the selected loads, the message No data within selection. appears when using these options. For selected loads with existing loading sequences, use the Print or Regenerate Loading Sequence options to reprint loading lists.

Planned Loads or Staged Loads

Select Load Planning to generate loading lists for loads selected from the Planned Loads/Shipments (whinh4180m000) session. These are planned loads not yet picked. To select staged or planned loads as specified by selecting the Staged Loads or the Load Planning option, use the selection criteria fields in the Selection Range group box.

If you selected the Staged Loads option, you can select staged loads from the Loads (whinh4140m000) session. Note that empty loads, that is, loads without shipments, are not selected.

If you selected the Load Planning option, you can select planned loads, which have not yet been picked, from the Planned Loads/Shipments (whinh4180m000) session. Note that only loads with status Actual, that is, loads not yet staged, are selected.

Device Selection once

If this check box is selected, the output device used in a preceding print run is applied. The output device is inherited from the previous print run as long as you do not close the session. After closing and restarting the session, you must again select an output device.

This option is useful if this session is open for a relatively long time during which you want to print various times using the same output device, for example for different selection ranges.
