Production Order Advice (whina3100m000)

Use this session to view and maintain production-order advice that was generated using the Generate Order Advice (SIC) (whina3200m000) session or the

Generate Orders (Kanban) (whinh2200m000) session.

You can also use this session to manually create production-order advice.

Item

The code of the item for which a production-order advice is generated.

If the order advice is based on kanban signals, you cannot change the item.

This is a display field.

Note: If a text note is added to the advice, the check box is selected by the system.
Effectivity Unit

effectivity unit

LN does not specify the effectivity unit when the production order advice is generated using the Generate Order Advice (SIC) (whina3200m000) session. You can afterwards manually specify the effectivity unit.

You can only specify an effectivity unit if the item is unit effective. You can specify whether the item is unit effective in the Item Defaults (tcibd0102m000) session.

Warehouse

The warehouse in which the manufactured item will be stored after production.

If the order advice is based on kanban signals, you cannot change the warehouse.

In Order Unit

The quantity of the manufactured item to be produced.

The session from which LN retrieves the default order quantity is determined by the Use Item Ordering Data check box in the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session.

If the Use Item Ordering Data check box is selected, LN retrieves the default order quantity from the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session based on the order method as specified in the Method field. If the order method is:

  • Lot for Lot, the default order quantity is one.
  • Economic Order Quantity, the default order quantity is the value of the Economic Order Quantity field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session.
  • Fixed Order Quantity, the default order quantity is the value of the Fixed Order field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session.
  • Replenish to Maximum Inventory, the default order quantity is the value of the Maximum Inventory field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session minus the economic stock.

If the Use Item Ordering Data check box is cleared, LN retrieves the default order quantity from the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session based on the order method as specified in the Order Method field. If the order method is:

  • Lot for Lot, the default order quantity is one.
  • Economic Order Quantity, the default order quantity is the value of the Economic Order Quantity field in the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session.
  • Fixed Order Quantity, the default order quantity is the value of the Fixed Order Quantity field in the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session.
  • Replenish to Maximum Inventory, the default order quantity is the value of the Maximum Inventory field in the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session minus the economic stock.

If the order advice is based on kanban signals, the quantity is derived from the aggregated signal quantities. The signal quantity is defined in the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session.

Order Unit

The order unit in which the ordered quantity is expressed.

In Inventory Unit

The inventory unit in which the ordered quantity is expressed.

Unit

The inventory unit.

Routing

The code of the routing. This is the operation sequence required to manufacture the manufactured item.

LN retrieves the default routing based on the value of the Quantity-dependent Routing check box in the Item - Production (tiipd0101m000) session.

If the Quantity-dependent Routing check box in the Item - Production (tiipd0101m000) session is selected, LN retrieves the default routing from the Item - Routings (tirou1101m000) session, based on the order quantity and the item.

If the In Order Unit in the current session is zero, LN first retrieves the default order quantity based on the order method as specified in the Method field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session. If the order method is:

  • Lot for Lot, the default order quantity is one.
  • Economic Order Quantity, the default order quantity is the value of the Economic Order Quantity field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session.
  • Fixed Order Quantity, the default order quantity is the value of the Fixed Order field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session.
  • Replenish to Maximum Inventory, the default order quantity is the value of the Maximum Inventory field in the Items - Ordering (tcibd2100m000) session minus the economic stock.

If no routing is available for the order quantity and item, LN retrieves the default routing from the Default Routing field in the Job Shop Master Data Parameters (tirou0100m000) session.

If the Quantity-dependent Routing check box in the Item - Production (tiipd0101m000) session is cleared, LN retrieves the default routing from the Default Routing field in the Job Shop Master Data Parameters (tirou0100m000) session.

Routing

The routing ID.

Routing Revision

The revision for which the routing is used.

Production Start Date

The date on which production of the manufactured item must begin.

Requested Delivery Date

The date on which production of the order quantity must be completed and the quantity must be ready for posting to inventory.

LN determines the default delivery date based on the production start date as specified in the Production Start Date field in the current session and one of the following:

  • If no routing is specified for the fixed order quantity or the economic order quantity for the item, LN takes into account the order lead time as specified in the Order Lead Time field in the Item - Production (tiipd0101m000) session.
  • If a routing is specified for the fixed order quantity or the economic order quantity for the item, LN carries out a network planning for this routing to determine the default delivery date.
Planner

The employee responsible for planning the item. The planner has a key role in selections in a variety of sessions.

Shop Floor Planner

The employee who is responsible for printing and releasing production orders and managing work loads.

Default value

LN retrieves the default shop floor planner from the Shop Floor Planner field of the Production Order Versions (ticst1151m000) session.

Routing Group

LN retrieves the default routing group from the Routing Group field of the Routing Groups (tcmcs1145m000) session.

Tool Availability Planning Generated

If this check box is selected, and the Tools Requirement Planning module is implemented, the tools planning is updated with the Generate Tools Availability Planning (whina3205m000) session.

The tools availability planning is deleted when the production-order advice is modified.

Confirmed

If this check box is selected, the production-order advice is confirmed and you can convert the production-order advice into an actual production order using the Transfer Production Order Advice (whina3202m000) session. You can make no more changes after the production order has been converted.

If this check box is cleared, the production-order advice is not confirmed and you cannot convert the production-order advice into an actual production order. LN removes the production-order advice when the Generate Order Advice (SIC) (whina3200m000) session is run for this order.

Kanban

If this check box is selected, the production-order advice is based on kanban signals.

The signals related to the production-order advice are displayed in the Production Order Advice Kanban Signals (whina3108m000) session.

Supply System

Display field. Shows the supply system for which the order is created.
