Delete Inspections (tscfg3200m000)

Use this session to delete a range of inspections. You can access this session using the Delete Inspections option in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session and the Inspections (tscfg3100m000) session.

Note: 
  • You can view this session only if the Use Inspections check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • If an inspection is deleted, all the maintenance notifications linked to the inspection in the Maintenance Notifications (tscfg3110m000) session, are also deleted except the notifications with the Status set to Transferred.
  • The To-selection range values must not be lesser than the From-selection range values.
  • The selection range for the Owner, In Use-by Business Partner, Installation Group, Serialized Item Group and Usage Class fields is used to set more accurate browse filters for the From Item and From Serial Number range.
  • The fields in the Selection Range Serialized Items group box are not displayed if this session is accessed from the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.

Field Information

Selection Range

Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range of data for which the inspections must be deleted.

Selection Serialized Items

The setting for the selection of the serialized items.

Owner

The From and To fields define a range of: the sold-to business partners specified for the serialized item.

In Use-by Business Partner

The From and To fields define a range of: the in use-by business partners.

Installation Group

The From and To fields define a range of: the installation groups.

Serialized Item Group

The From and To fields define a range of: the serialized item groups.

Usage Class

The From and To fields define a range of: the usage classes.

From Item

The From and To fields define a range of: the items.

From Serial Number

The From and To fields define a range of: the serial numbers.

Measurement Type

The From and To fields define a range of: the measurement types.

Position

The From and To fields define a range of: the positions.

Delete up to Measured On Date

The inspections for which the Measured On field in the Inspections (tscfg3100m000) session, is set to a date before the date and time specified in this field are considered for deletion.

Delete up to Creation Date

The inspections for which the Creation Date field in the Inspections (tscfg3100m000) session, is set to a date before the date and time specified in this field are considered for deletion.

Keep Last Registered Inspection

If this check box is selected, the latest inspection is not deleted for the serialized item.

Note: By default, this check box is selected. If the last registered inspection is deleted, the counter readings linked to the inspection are updated in the Counter Readings by Serialized Item (tscfg2101m000) session.
Keep Open Inspections

If this check box is selected, the inspections, with Status set to Free or Not Measured in the Inspections (tscfg3100m000) session, are not considered for deletion.

Note: By default, this check box is selected.
Simulate

If this check box is selected, actual delete actions are not executed.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, an error report is generated with the inspections that cannot be deleted. The report also includes the details of the error.

Process Report

If this check box is selected, a process report is generated with all the inspections that have been deleted.

Note: By default, this check box is selected and disabled if the Simulate check box is selected.
