Replace Serial Number (tscfg2210m800)

Use this session to to replace the old serial number with a new serial number. You can specify or generate a new serial number. This replacement makes changes to the serialized item, its physical breakdown, and the physical breakdown log.

Note: You can only replace serials with the status Startup.

Note: You can access this session, only if the Configuration Status Usage checkbox is selected in the Configuration Management Parameters (tscfg0100m000) session.

Field Information

Item: The serialized item for which you want to replace the serial number.
Old Serial Number: The old serial number that you want to replace.
New Serial Number: The new serial number.
