Graph

This section provides a graphical representation of the data displayed in the grid. This data is displayed as a mix of a stacked and a standard bar graph.

You can select Costs or Hours to view the data in the graph:

  • Costs: Displays the budgeted costs, actual costs, and allowed costs in the form of stacked bar charts. The allowed costs are to be established by using the most recent progress information combined with the budgeted amounts. The calculation method is:

    Progress % x Budget = Allowed cost

If the Allowed costs are equal to or higher than the Actual costs, it indicates as In-budget. If the Actual costs are higher than the allowed costs (or there is no progress and therefore allowed is zero), it indicates as a Budget overflow or overrun.

  • Hours: Displays the hours spent versus actual and allowed hours. The allowed hours are calculated based on the most recent progress information combined with the budgeted hours. The calculation method is:

Progress % x Budgeted hours = Allowed hours

If the allowed hours are equal to or higher than the actual hours, it indicates as In-budget. If the actual hours are higher than the allowed hours (or there is no progress and therefore allowed hours is zero), it indicates as Hours overflow or overrun.

Note: The figures in the graph are displayed based on the period specified in the Project Accounting Parameters (tpppc0100s000) session.
