Update Work Authorization Status (tppss2205m000)

Use this session to update the work authorization status of the specified elements or activities.

Note: The project status must be Active and only activities under the leading plan are considered for the update process.

Description

The description or name of the code.

From Status
From Current Status

The current work authorization status of the element or activity. Based on this selection, you can filter the elements or activities that must be updated to a new status.

Only with Reason

If this check box is selected, you can specify a reason for which the activity or element is set to On Hold. Based on this reason the status of a specific activity or element can be set to Free, Finished or Released. This option is enabled only if the value of the From Current Status field is set to On Hold.

Example: For example, two activities are set to On Hold and the reasons specified are PNR (Payment Not Received) and PS (Progress Stopped) respectively, in the Activities (tppss2100m000) session. When the customer pays the amount, you can release the activity using this session:

  • You set the From Current Status field to On Hold.
  • Select this check box and specify PNR in the Reason field.
  • Click Update. Only the activity with the reason PNR is set to Free, Finished or Released. The status of the activity with the reason, PS is still On Hold.
Reason

The reason for which the element or activity is set to On Hold. Based on this reason the status of a specific activity or element can be updated to Free, Finished or Released.

Description

The description or name of the code.

To Status
To New Status

The work authorization status of the elements or activities.

Note: 

Infor LN sets the status to Released, Finished, or Closed when the Element or Activity date is due or based on progress.

To update the status of the work authorization, the criteria specified in the Update based on Progress group box for the activity or element, must be met.

Reason

The reason for holding the work execution of the element/activity. The field is enabled only when the To New Status field is set to On Hold.

The description or name of the code.

Progress

Displays the information based on the option selected for the element or activity, in the Update based on Progress group box.

If this check box is selected, the PLM linked activities are set to Finished

Set PLM Business Process to Completed

If this check box is selected, the PLM business process status is set to Finished.

Reason

The reason for updating the status.

Update based on Progress
Scheduled Date

If this check box is selected, LN updates the work authorization status, based on the scheduled date and time of the element or activity.

Note: The check box is enabled only when the To New Status field is set to Released, Finished, or Closed.
Date

The scheduled date and time of the element or activity.

Note: This field is enabled only when you select the Scheduled Date check box.
Actual Date

If this check box is selected, Infor LN updates the work authorization status, based on the actual date and time of the element or activity.

Note: The check box is enabled only when the To New Status field is set to Finished or Closed.
Date

The actual date and time of the element or activity.

Note: This field is enabled only when you select the Actual Date check box.
Progress

If this check box is selected, LN updates the work authorization status, based on the percentage of activity completed of the element or activity.

Note: 
  • The check box is enabled only if the To New Status field is set to Finished or Closed.
  • By default, the value of this field is 100%.
Percentage Completed

The completion of the activity indicated as a percentage.

Include Milestones

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes milestones and the related data of the scheduled or actual finish date, that is the date by when the milestone must be reached.

Note: The check box is enabled only when the To New Status field is set to Finished and one of the above check boxes are selected.

Select the update mode.

Infor LN updates the data.

Simulate

Infor LN runs the process in the simulation mode. The results are not saved in the database. This process enables you to preview the results.

Process Report

If this check box is selected, Infor LN prints the process report. By default, the check box is not selected.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, Infor LN prints the error report. By default, the check box is selected.
