Build Actual Cost Control (tpppc4803m000)

Use this session to select the projects you want to display the actual cost control data for in the Control Inquiries (tpppc4850m000) session.

You can use this data for project monitoring. The budget, budget adjustments, budget extensions, costs, revenues, commitments, actual progress, and forecasts for final results are used to fill the monitoring tables in the Project Progress module. Once this data is generated, it can be used in all project control inquiries.

Note: If you entered budget lines for elements for an element/activity project, use this session to see the budget data.

Performance aspects

The settings in this session could affect system performance and database growth. For more information, refer to Job mode

If this session is started in the Job mode, LN defaults the Period data from the Project Accounting Parameters (tpppc0100s000) session. Else the value you specify in this session is considered.

Note:

Infor LN displays a message to indicate one of these scenarios:

The process is completed successfully.
The process is completed with one or more errors.
The process is terminated before completion, by an error that is considered fatal or is blocking the process.
The process is terminated before completion, using the Stop option in the progress bar.
The process is not initiated as no data is available in the selection range.

Field Information

Period for Actual Cost Control: The year of the actual cost-control period.
/: The actual cost control is built through this period and includes the accumulated values up to this period.
Net Change Run: If this check box is selected, the application checks if new actual cost transactions exist. If existing, the transactions are included in the totals.

Note: The application validates the Actual Cost Last Built date specified in the Project (tppdm6600m400) session with the latest cost transaction date to generate the data.
Include Overhead: If this check box is selected, the overhead cost amount is included in the total amounts related to Project, Element, Activity and all cost type.

Note: This check box is displayed only if the Actuals check box is selected in the Project Parameters (tppdm0100s000) session.
Use Cost Details of Deliverables: If this check box is selected, cost details of the deliverables are considered to generate the actual budgeted control data.
