Generate Physical Progress from Planning (tpppc1240m000)

Use this session to copy the progress of the activity (planning) to the activity and element progress (production).

Data is copied to the following sessions:

  • Physical Progress by Activity/Material (tpppc1140s000)
  • Physical Progress by Activity/Labor (tpppc1141s000)
  • Physical Progress by Activity/Equipment (tpppc1142s000)
  • Physical Progress by Activity/Subcontracting (tpppc1143s000)
  • Physical Progress by Activity/Sundry Cost (tpppc1144s000)

In addition, the cost objects are copied from the control data.

The percentage completed is calculated as follows: (performed by element/budgeted costs by element) x 100%

The performed by element are determined by adding up all quantities of the cost objects, for each cost type.

The budgeted costs are computed by multiplying the performed with the progress of the activity (see the Activity Physical Progress (tpppc1560m000) session).

Depending on the value of the fields in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session, progress is maintained at the level of cost object codes or cost control codes.

Note:

Infor LN displays a message to indicate one of these scenarios:

  • The process is completed successfully.
  • The process is completed with one or more errors.
  • The process is terminated before completion, by an error that is considered fatal or is blocking the process.
  • The process is terminated before completion, using the Stop option in the progress bar.
  • The process is not initiated as no data is available in the selection range.

Physical Progress Date

The date for which the progress data must be generated.

Overwrite Existing Data

If this check box is selected, the progress that is newly generated for existing lines replaces the old generated control data progress of these lines. What remains is the new progress.

If this check box is cleared, LN will leave the lines that were deleted after generating control data in tact in the history when you generate new progress here. For lines that new progress is generated for, the old lines will be updated.
