Project Management Offices (tppdm0110m000)

Use this session to create a Project Management Office (PMO) or department. For example, you can also use the PMO to group projects by department or to link employees to the department, which helps ease the authorization and security processes.

Project Management Office

The code of the project management office or department.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Enterprise Unit

The enterprise unit to which the PMO is linked. You must specify an enterprise unit. Financial data related to the PMO or department is stored in the financial company to which the enterprise unit is linked.

Note: You can change the department's enterprise unit in the Departments (tcemm1124m000) session of the Enterprise Modeling Management module. However, If the multicompany structure is set up, you cannot change the enterprise unit.
Description

The description or name of the code.

Address

The address of the department.

Name

The description or name of the code.

City

The code that identifies the city. The value is defaulted based on the specified Address.

Calendar

The calendar used by the PMO.

Default value

By default, the application uses the central calendar defined for the company's address in the Addresses (tccom4530m000) session.

Manager

The employee responsible or the manager of the PMO.

Note: The selected employee is notified if the Notify Manager check box is selected in the Print Hours and Expenses (Completeness Check) (bptmm1410m000) session.
Name

The description or name of the code.

Financial Company

The financial company to which the PMO is linked. This is also the financial company to which the PMO's enterprise unit is linked. Transactions created by the department are posted to this financial company.

Labor Rate Code

The labor rate is used to determine the intercompany price for hours spent on fulfilling an order or project.
