Estimate Structures (tpest1110m000)
Use this session to maintain structures for an estimate version. Only one of the structures can be of the Activity, Cost Component, Element, or Extension type, the other four structures must be user-defined structures.
For a specific version, if the Structure Type field is set to User Defined, you can use the user defined structure created in User Defined Structures (tppdm0195s000) session only once. This session also allows you to view the physical breakdown structure of the selected structural elements in a tree view. See Tree Detail session.

- Structure Type

For an estimate version, you can define eight structures: one primary and seven additional structures. The primary structure used to define the estimate. One of the additional estimate-version structures can be used to sort estimate lines. The grouping of structural elements creates an extra view. Each estimate version can only have one of each of the project-related structure types.

- Activity

A project activity structure, defined in the Activities (tppss2100m000) session for the project.
- Element

A project element structure, defined in the Elements (tpptc1100m000) session.
- Cost Component

A cost component structure is a flat structure, defined in the Cost Components (tcmcs0148m000) session.
- Extension

An extension is created in the Project Extensions (tpptc0510m000) session.
- User Defined

A user defined structure is the only structure type that can be defined more than once for a version. A user defined structure can be, for example, an organization breakdown structure.
Note: This option is available only if the All Activity Types check box is selected in the Project Parameters (tppdm0100s000) session.
