Message Log (tpest0505m000)

Use this session to display the messages that are created during the top-down consistency check, or during the launch to budget process.

Note: On the Specific menu, click Delete Message Log to delete outdated messages.

Field Information

User: The user's logon code.
Message Type: Not every message is an error message. Some messages are logged to provide information on the estimate process. For example, a cost object code is generated for the project. This is not an error, but you launched an estimate to a project budget and the cost object code is generated.
Estimate Level: The level of detail for the estimate. The level depends on the value of the Estimating Type field.
Run Date: The date the message is created.
Message Origin: You can see messages logged for a top-down verification process and for a launch process.
Project: The code that identifies the project.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Version: The estimate version code.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Message Description: The description of the message.
Structural Element: The structural element.
