Job Shop Planning Board user settings

In the User Settings, you can define the default values based on which, the orders/operations must be displayed when you access the Job Shop Planning Board (tisfc8372m000).

To access the settings, click jspb_settings_iconand select User Settings.

You can set these values in the Selection Range section:

Default View
The default view that must be displayed when the workbench is accessed. Possible values:
  • Production Order
  • Schedule View
Site
The default site for which the orders/operations must be displayed.
Note: 
  • If the All Sites Allowed check box is cleared, the default Site specified in the Production User Profiles (timfc0120m000) session is considered.
  • If the All Sites Allowed check box is selected, the Site specified in user settings is considered. If Site is not specified in user settings, the default Site specified in the Production User Profiles (timfc0120m000) session is considered.
  • This field is applicable only if multisite functionality is implemented.
  • Only the sites for which the work centers are specified, are considered.
Production Department
The default production department(s) for which the orders/operations must be displayed.
Work Center
The default work center(s) for which the orders/operations must be displayed.
Note: Costing work centres are excluded.
Shop Floor Planner
The default shop floor planner(s) for which the orders/operations must be displayed.
Routing Group
The default routing group(s) for which the orders/operations must be displayed.
Note: This is applicable when multisite functionality is not implemented.
Project (PCS)
The default range of Projects (PCS) for which the orders/operations must be displayed.
Production Order
The default range of production orders for which the operations must be displayed.
Note: When you lookup for Production Orders, Infor LN displays only the orders that are linked to the default site selected on launching the workbench.
Status
The default status(es) of the production orders.
Note: Scheduled is not a status, but a Boolean field on the production order.

In the Planning Horizon section, you can select the number days (maximum 15 days) for which the orders/operations must be displayed in the Gantt.

In the Gantt section you can set the colours for the various status. You can also set these values in the Gantt section:

Production Order Columns
The production order related columns that must be displayed in the Gantt. Possible values:
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Work Center / Machine
  • Operated Item
  • Task
Activity Description
The activity description related columns that must be displayed in the Gantt. Possible values:
  • Order/Operation
  • Main Item
  • Operated Item
Show Production Order Legends
If this check box is selected, the legends are displayed for the Production Order.
Show Schedule View Legends
If this check box is selected, the legends are displayed for the Schedule View.
Show Material Availability Legends
If this check box is selected, the legends are displayed for the Material Availability.

You must click Save Defaults and access the workbench again for the settings to be applicable.
