Printing Production Order Costing Overview

The report contains the following information:

• End item value

  The value of the end items that are received in the warehouse.

• Costs

  The costs to produce the production order items:
  • Material costs
  • Operation costs for man hours and machine hours.
  • Subcontracting costs

• Results

  The production order variances:
  • Efficiency variance
  • Price variance
  • Additional calculation office variance

Note that the variances are only printed on the report when the production order is Closed.

At the bottom of the report a check sum is printed:

End Item Value -/- Costs -/- Results

For closed production orders, the result of the check sum must be 0 (zero).
