Reporting Production Schedules Completed

You can report all production orders as Completed that are linked to a repetitive item in the By Item tab. You can report all production orders as Completed that are linked to a scheduling area in the By Area tab.

You can report production schedules as Completed in two ways:

  • Interactive: Choose Interactive Reporting from the appropriate menu. LN provides an option (yes/no) to report the completion of operations. Interactive reporting is done with the Report Production Orders Completed from Production Schedule (tirpt1502m000) session.
  • Automatic: Choose Automatic Reporting from the appropriate menu. The previous operations are automatically reported as Completed, based on the quantity completed in this session.

After all orders have been processed, the posted quantities are displayed together with the rejected quantities, if any. As long as any quantities remain, the following question is displayed:

Not all completed quantities (%1$g) could be completed on the current schedule. What to do with remaining quantity %2$g?

You can give the following answers:

  • Ignore Remaining Quantity The remaining quantities are not processed.
  • Report on Last Order The remaining quantities are posted to the last production order (in the period) to which quantities can still be posted.
  • Report Qty to Next Period The remaining quantities are posted to the next period (if possible).
Note: If you have started this session by zooming, you can only find and select a record.
