Production Bill of Material (timfc3600m000)

Use this session to manage materials for the production bill of material.

This session displays data from

  • The Production Bill of Material Lines (timfc3110m000) session.
Note: For the production bill of material that originates from Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):
  • You can create a new revision using the New Revision option from the Actions menu only if the Manual Add Revision check box is selected in the Production Bill of Material Control (timfc3199m000) session.
  • You can add or delete the materials (on the Materials tab) for the production bill of material only if the Manual Add/Delete Material Line check box is selected in the Production Bill of Material Control (timfc3199m000) session.
Infor LN allows you to modify a field on the production bill of material header with a status of New only if:
  • The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is not the origin of the production bill of material.
  • You can manually modify the PLM Controlled fields based on the settings defined in the Production Bill of Material Control (timfc3199m000) session.
  • The field is not controlled by PLM based on the template defined in the Production Bill of Material Control (timfc3199m000) session.
Note: To use this session the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m000) session must be set to Active or In Preparation.

Status

The status of the production bill of material.

Allowed values

  • New
  • Approved
  • Expired
Effective Date

The date the P-BOM becomes effective.

Source

The origin of the P-BOM.

Allowed values

Manual

The P-BOM is defined in the Production Bills of Material (timfc3100m000) session.

Production Bill of Material

The P-BOM revision was generated from an existing production bill of material.

Engineering Bill of Material

The P-BOM is generated from an engineering bill of material.

Note: If the P-BOM is generated from an E-BOM, the Source Engineering Item and Source Revision fields are filled.
PLM

The P-BOM is generated from data imported from PLM.

Configurator (PCF)

The P-BOM is generated from data imported from the PCF configurator.

Configurator

The P-BOM is generated from data imported from Infor Configurator.

Job Shop Bill of Material

The P-BOM was generated from a job shop bill of material.

Source Engineering Item

The item for which the Engineering Bill of Material is defined.

Note: If the P-BOM is created by EDM based on an engineering item- Item Relationship, this field specifies the engineering item.

Source Revision

The revision of the engineering item bill of material.

Expiry Date

The date the P-BOM can no longer be used.

Created By

The name of the employee responsible for the creation of the PBOM.

Created On

The date the PBOM was created.

Approved By

The employee responsible for the approval of the production bill of material.

Approved On

The date the production bill of material was approved.

Expired By

The eployee responsible for expiring the production bill of material.

Expired On

The date the production bill of material was expired.
