Copy Production Bill of Material (timfc3200m100)

Use this session to to copy a production bill of material revision to another product.

If the product to which the production bill of material is copied, has no P-BOM, or only has revisions with the status Approved or Expired, a new revision of the product is created with the status New.

If the product to which the production bill of material is copied has a P-BOM revision with a status New, this revision can either be overwritten or have the new bill of material added to this revision.

Note: To use this session the Job Shop by Site parameter in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m000) session must be set to Active or In Preparation.

The product ID.

Revision

The P-BOM revision number.

Effectivity Unit

Position

The position of the PBOM line.

Product

The ID of the product the production bill of material is copied to.

Revision

The production model revision number.

Copy Method

The method by which the production bill of material is copied.

Allowed values

Create

The version is copied into a new revision of the target generic job shop routing.

Overwrite

The existing operations of the target generic job shop routing are overwritten by the source version. The operations that do not exist in the source generic job shop routing are not removed.

Add and Renumber

The operations of the source generic job shop routing are added to the target generic job shop routing and renumbered.

Exceptions

If this check box is selected, exceptions defined for the source production bill of material are copied.

Reference Designators

If this check box is selected, reference designators defined for the source production bill of material are copied.

Alternative Materials

If this check box is selected, alternative materials defined for the source production bill of material are copied.

BOM Text

If this check box is selected, any text present on the source production bill of material is copied.
