Job Shop Bills of Material (tibom3100m000)

Use this session to manage bills of material (BOM) header data for multi-site BOMs used during production in the job shop.

Note: 
  • This session only applies if Job Shop by Site check box in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) is selected.
  • You can modify the fields on the header section for a job shop bill of material with a status of New only if one of these conditions is met:
    • The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is not the origin of the job shop bill of material.
    • You can manually modify the PLM Controlled fields based on the settings defined in the Job Shop Bill of Material Control (tibom5100m000) session.
    • The field is not controlled by PLM based on the template defined in the Job Shop Bill of Material Control (tibom5100m000) session.
  • You can add a new revision to a job shop bill of material only if one of these conditions is met:
    • The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is not the origin of the job shop bill of material.
    • You can manually add a revision based on the settings defined in the Job Shop Bill of Material Control (tibom5100m000) session.

  • By default, this check box is cleared.
  • This check box is enabled only if:
    • The Status of the Production Bill of Material is New.
    • The BOM Units of Material lines check box is selected in the Product Engineering Parameters (timfc0100m000) session

Routing

The sequence of operation required to manufacture an item.

Note: A bill of material may be linked to a specific routing. If this field is empty, the bill of material can be used with any routing.
Use for Planning

If this check box is selected, the selected JSBOM is used for planning.

Note: Per item and site, only one Job Shop bill of material can be used for planning.
BOM Quantity

BOM quantity

Use for Costing

If this check box is selected, the selected JSBOM is used for costing.

Note: Only one JSBOM per product can be used for costing purposes.
Revision
Expiry Date

The date after which the PBOM is no longer valid.

Created By

The name of the employee responsible for the creation of the PBOM.

Created On

The date the PBOM was created.

Approved By

The employee responsible for the approval of the production bill of material.

Approved On

The date the production bill of material was approved.

Expired By

The eployee responsible for expiring the production bill of material.

Expired On

The date the production bill of material was expired.

If this check box is selected, a text is present.

Source

The origin of the job shop bill of material.

Allowed values

Manual

The BOM is defined in the Job Shop Bills of Material (tibom3100m000) session, or copied form another BOM.

Production Bill of Material

The BOM revision is generated from an existing production bill of material.

Configurator (PCF)

The BOM or Job Shop BOM is generated based on the data imported from the PCF configurator.

Configurator

The BOM or Job Shop BOM is generated based on the data imported from Infor Configurator.

PLM

The BOM or Job Shop BOM is generated based on the data imported from PLM.

Job Shop Bill of Material

The BOM or Job Shop BOM is generated from a job shop bill of material.
