Overall architecture

This diagram shows the overall architecture of a previous version to a new LN conversion:

The conversion procedure for a previous version to the new LN version consists of these general steps:

  1. Export sessions from previous version as described in Session codes for the previous Infor environment.
  2. Import these sessions as application components for the 'previous' version as described in Session codes for the previous Infor environment.
  3. Generate Application component for the new version as described in Session codes for the previous Infor environment.
  4. Map the previous applications components to LN application components, as described in Conversion of session codes.
  5. Export model from previous version by means of version dump, as described in Migrating models.
  6. Import version dump in the new LN version, as described in Migrating models.
  7. Replace the previous version application components by the mapped new LN components, as described in Conversion procedure.
  8. Manually adapt the Enterprise Modeler content to accommodate new functionality.
