Transaction Summary Inquiry (tffam8507m000)
Use this session to show total activity for selected periods and years, recorded against a particular book by transaction type. You can view book data for a company in summary by transaction type and can specify book code information. When you select a different book code, the field information for that book is displayed.
All the information in an inquiry session is display only. You can end the inquiry at any time, or begin a new inquiry. Inquiries have no effect on the database, other than the retrieval of data; data is not manipulated or saved. Your security access rights determine the information that appears during an inquiry.

The code of a dimension. You specify up to five dimensions in the Transaction Template Lines (tfgld0113m000) session. You can specify dimension if the entries for the selected transaction must be allocated to dimension type. This depends on the value that was allocated in the Dimension Options fields of the Chart of Accounts (tfgld0508m000) session. If these fields are set to Optional or Mandatory, the range of dimensions applicable to the ledger account can be defined in the Cross Validation Rules (tfgld0151m000) session.
