Generate Hierarchical Results (tfcat2251m000)
Use this session to generate hierarchical results for alternative hierarchies that you can define in the Financial Budgeting System module.
The various Hierarchical Result sessions give you quick access to the aggregated reports of costs and deviations for a selected hierarchy, and to drill down to the sources on ledger account and dimension level. LN generates the hierarchical results based on the hierarchy that you select.
After you generated the hierarchical results, you can view the results in the following sessions:
- Hierarchical Results - by Dimension (tfcat2550m000).
- Hierarchical Results by Dimension and Ledger Account (tfcat2553s000).
- Hierarchical Results - by Dimension and Ledger Account (tfcat2551m000).
- Hierarchical Results - by Ledger Account (tfcat2552m000).
- Hierarchical Results - by Ledger Account and Dimension (tfcat2554m000).

- Hierarchy

The hierarchy for which LN generates the hierarchical results.
- Year

The year for which LN generates the hierarchical results.
- Budget

The budget for which LN generates the hierarchical results.
- Period

The To and From fields define the range of fiscal periods for which LN generates the hierarchical results.
- Period

The To and From fields define the range of fiscal periods for which LN generates the hierarchical results.
- Order from High to Low Sublevel

To generate the results starting at the highest hierarchy level of the ledger accounts or dimensions, select this check box.
- Include Actual Costs
-
To include the actual costs from the general ledger, select this check box. If you clear the check box, the hierarchical results are based only on the budgeted costs.
- Dimension

If the budget applies to this dimension type, you can select the check box to generate the hierarchical results for the dimension type.
- Create Complete Hierarchy

To include hierarchy levels of level zero, select this check box.
