Purchase Requisitions (tfacp2528m000)

Use this session to to enter purchase requisitions. The data can be entered manually, or you can import an XML file of purchase requisitions from E-Procurement or an external package. If the data comes from E-Procurement or an external package, the requisition type is External.

External requisitions can only be modified if you selected the Modify External Requisitions check box in the ACP Parameters (tfacp0100m000) session.

When a purchase requisition is created, the order balance increases.

Field Information

Requisition

A unique number given to every purchase requisition that is entered. The requisition ID is generated based on the number groups and series specified in the ACP Parameters (tfacp0100m000) session.

Requisition Reference

The number/code generated/created in E-procurement or in any other external systems, or manually entered by you.

Requisition Date

The date on which the purchase requisition is created.

Receipt Date

The date on which the buyer receives the goods. You must specify the date only if you selected the Desktop Receiving check box.

Reference / Trace No.

The purchase requisition reference/trace number.

Procurement Card Number

The procurement card number/code.

Requisitioner

The description/code of the employee/requisitioner who made the purchase.

Buy-from Business Partner

The buy-from business partner.

Ship-to Address

The address code of the ship-to business partner.

Ship-from B.P Address

The address code of the ship-from business partner.

Item

The item code.

Department

The department code. This field is used for information only.

Received Quantity

The confirmed received quantity.

Currency

The requisition currency.

Currency Rate

The rate of conversion to the home currency.

Requisition Amount (Net)

The amount of the purchase requisition raised.

Tax Amount

The tax amount.

Tax Code

The code to calculate the tax amount. The default tax country and tax codes are taken from the ACP Parameters (tfacp0100m000) session. You can change these.

Tax Country

Select the country in which your company pays tax. The default tax country and tax codes are taken from the ACP Parameters (tfacp0100m000) session. You can change these.

Tax Exempt Reason

Select the tax exemption reason code.

Invoice / Shipment

The invoice/shipment number the buyer receives with the goods.

This number is the number that the buyer, supplier, and procurement card company can refer to in case of discrepancies.

GL Code

The GL code that indicates the ledger account and dimensions to which the transaction must be posted.

If you do not enter a GL code, the transaction is posted according to the integration mapping scheme.

Desktop Receiving

If this check box is selected, accrual posting is carried out as soon as you save the purchase requisition.

If you clear this check box, you can use the Post Accrual / Reversal Journal Entries (tfacp2260m000) session to accrue the expected purchase invoices.

Ledger Accounts

The ledger account.

The default ledger account of the cost item derived from the integration mapping scheme.

Matching Line

The matching line is generated based on the matching code and the enums attached to the matching combination.

The matching line is used to match procurement card statement lines to purchase requisitions.

Status

The status of the purchase requisition.

Allowed values

Created

The requisition has been registered. If no receipts for the requisition exist, you can still cancel the requisition.

Cancelled

You have canceled the requisition. The requisition cannot be used anymore. For example, you can cancel a requisition if the related purchase was canceled.

Matched

The requisition was completely matched with the corresponding procurement card statement lines. The requisition cannot be changed anymore. To make changes, you must first unmatch the requisition.

Posted

The requisition has been invoiced.

Rate Determiner

The rate determiner indicates how LN determines the currency rate to be used.

The currency rate can be:

  • Based on the document date.
  • Manually entered.
  • A fixed rate.
  • Based on the expected cash date.

The financial company.
