Calculate Target Prices (tdpcg0233m100)

Use this session to calculate the target price for the specified range of items.

Note: You can view this session only if the Target Price check box is selected in the Procurement Parameters (tdpur0100m000) session.

Field Information

Selection Range

Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range of items for which the target price must be calculated.

Item

The From and To fields define a range of: items for which the target price must be calculated.

Item Group

The From and To fields define a range of: item groups for which the target price must be calculated.

Note: This field is enabled only if the range is not specified for the items.
Item Type

The From and To fields define a range of: item types for which the target price must be calculated.

Note: 
  • If the price is not specified at Level 1, the price defined at level 2 is considered. If the price is not specified at Level 2, the price defined at level 3 is considered. The search process is executed similarly up to level 8.
  • You must specify different values for each search level.
  • If a level is set to Not Applicable, the subsequent levels are also set to Not Applicable.
Specific Price Book

The price book that is used to retrieve the target prices.

Note: This field is enabled only if a level in the 8 is set to Specific Price Book Price.
Description

The description or name of the code.

Compare Purchase Order Prices to RFQ Prices

If this check box is selected, and the levels in the Search Path for Target Price Calculation is set to purchase order prices and the RFQ prices, the prices are compared and the lowest price is considered.

Requests for Quotation

The From and To fields define a range of: dates. The RFQs responses, for this range of dates, are considered for the target price calculation.

Include History

If this check box is selected, the RFQ history data is considered for the target price calculation.

Orders

The From and To fields define a range of: dates. The purchase orders, created during this range of dates, are considered for the target price calculation.

Include History

If this check box is selected, the purchase order history data is considered for the target price calculation.

Contracts

The From and To fields define a range of: dates. The purchase contracts, created during this range of dates, are considered for the target price calculation.

Include History

If this check box is selected, the purchase contract history data is considered for the target price calculation.

Expire Existing Lines when no Target Price found

If this check box is selected, the existing target price book lines, for the specified range of items, are set to Expired when no new target price exists.

Update Target Price To

The type of target price book to which the calculated target prices must be updated.

The code of the target price book to which the calculated target prices must be updated.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if the Update Target Price To field is set to Existing Target Price Book or New Target Price Book.
  • If the Update Target Price To field is set to Existing Target Price Book, you can select an existing target price book from the Target Price Books (tdpcg0113m000).
  • If the Update Target Price To field is set to New Target Price Book, you can select the series from the First Free Numbers (tcmcs0150m000) session. A new target price book is created using the selected series.
Description

The description or name of the code.

RFQ Specific

If this check box is selected, the price book is used only for RFQ.

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if the Update Target Price To field is set to New Target Price Book.
  • If the Update Target Price To field is set to Existing Target Price Book, this value is defaulted from the Target Price Books (tdpcg0113m000), based on the selected target price book.
Update Target Price by Percentage / Value

The method to update the calculated target price. You can increase or decrease the target price by this method.

Allowed values

By Percentage
The option used to specify the percentage change.
By Value
The option used to specify the change in value.
Update Percentage

The percentage by which the target price updated.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Update Target Price by Percentage / Value field is set to By Percentage.
Rounding Code

The rounding code used to update the target price by a percentage.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Update Target Price by Percentage / Value field is set to By Percentage.
Description

The description or name of the code.

Update Value

The value by which the target price is updated.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Update Target Price by Percentage / Value field is set to By Value.
Currency

The currency in which the Update Value is expressed.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Update Target Price by Percentage / Value field is set to By Value.
Simulate

If this check box is selected, Infor LN processes the target price calculation in simulation mode. The results are not saved in the database. This process enables you to review the results before updating the target prices.

Print Report

If this check box is selected, Infor LN prints the report with the calculated target prices, after the target price calculation process is executed.

Note: Infor LN selects this check box and you cannot modify this setting if the Simulate check box is selected.
