Testing Combinations (qmptc0119m000)

Use this session to define quality combinations which, generally speaking, consist of three parts:

The module from which inspections originate
The item or quality group that applies to the combination.
The quality ID that applies to the combination.

A single quality ID can be used for more than one quality combination.

Note: For an algorithm, all the characteristics representing the variables of the algorithm must be put in the same test group as the algorithm, otherwise the algorithm will not be generated for a quality ID.

The validate standard test procedure option also validates:

Whether the item is serialized.
Whether any item in the quality group is serialized.

If the above mentioned conditions are met, the application checks whether the associated Standard Test Procedure test quantity is greater than 1. If the item or any item in the test group is associated with a test quantity of greater than 1, the application prompts the user with this warning message:

Item (Item code) is serialized and the Test Quantity is greater than one. Test data will be applied to all the serialized items in the test quantity.

Origin

The origin of the order.

Quality inspections are executed within a module or package. This field is used to select one of the implemented modules or packages of LN.

Quality Group

The code of the quality group

Item

The code of the item.

Note: The quality combination of the item (defined in this session) overrules the quality combination of the quality group to which the item belongs.

Business Partner

The buy-from business partner or the sold-to business partner

Site

The site specified for the testing combination. When an inspection is performed at this site, the testing combination with the associated standard test procedure and site is used for the inspection.

E-Item Revision

The version or revised version of an engineering item (E-item) or a revision-controlled item. Several revisions of an E-item can exist.

Note: Note: LN allows you to define sampling rules and testing combinations for specified E-Item Revision.

Effectivity Unit

The code of the effectivity unit.

Owner

The unique code that identifies the owner. The value in this field is defaulted to the Order Inspection (qmptc1620m000) session.

The value in this field is defaulted from these sessions:

Owner specified in the Quality Groups (qmptc0129m000) session.
Owner specified in the Items - Quality Data (qmptc0118m000) session.

Routing

The code of the routing associated with the testing combination.

Note:

This field is displayed only if:

The Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session.
The origin of the inspection order is Routing (TI) and Material (BOM).

Routing Revision

The revision number of the routing associated with the testing combination.

Note:

This field is displayed only if:

The Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session.
The origin of the inspection order is Routing (TI).

This field is enabled only if the Routing is specified.

Production Model

The production model of the production schedule.

Production Model Revision

The production model revision.

Work Station

The work station that is part of the work cell.

QM Only Recommends

This field is used to indicate what can be done with the inspection results. If this check box is selected, the inspection results are a recommendation for the user; the user can overwrite these results. If this check box is cleared, the inspection results are mandatory; the user cannot overwrite these results. In this case you cannot use destructive tests.

Note: This field overrules the value of the QM Only Recommends field in the Quality Management Parameters (qmptc0100m000) session.

Blocking Method for Inspections

The blocking method refers to the way in which production, purchase, or sales is stopped or controlled to do inspections.

Note: If the QM Only Recommends check box is cleared, this field cannot be used.

Order Specific Test Procedure

If this check box is selected, you can execute the standard test procedure for the specified testing combination.

Inspection by Serials

If this check box is selected, inspection for serialized items (for In and Not In Inventory) is performed by serials with Routing origin. If this check box is selected, inspection for serialized items is performed anonymously.

Note: This field is only enabled for Routing origin and if the QM Only Recommends field is not selected.

Routing

The routing combination to determine if inspection is required. Routing is specified only if inspection of the item is mandatory.

Routing

The description or name of the code.

Operation

The routing operation. Operation is specified only if inspection of the item is mandatory.

Note: If the Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session, Infor LN allows you to select the operation using the Job Shop Routing Operations (tirou4101m000) session.

Reference Operation

The task which is executed during the operation.

Note:

If there is only one task for this operation, you cannot enter a value in this field.

This field is displayed only if the origin of the inspection order is Routing (TI).

If the Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session, Infor LN allows you to select the Operation using the Reference Operations (tirou4150m000) session.

From Warehouse

The warehouse from which the item is transferred.

To Warehouse

The warehouse to which the item is transferred.

Sub-Item

The code of the sub-item.

Sub-Item Description

The description or name of the code.

Project Contract

The code that uniquely identifies the project contract for which the testing combination is created.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Contract Line

The contract line number for which the testing combination is created.

Conformance Reporting

If this check box is selected, an inspection order of type conformance reporting is created during inspections (if the purchase order or sales order (including contract deliverables) has conformance code defined). The inspection order created is used for document checking.

If this check box is selected, specifying the standard test procedure is optional.
This field is displayed only if the Origin field is set to Project.

First Article Inspection Required

If this check box is selected, the First Article Inspection is applicable for the item.

Standard Test Procedure

The code of the standard test procedure that must be maintained.
