Allowed Disposition Codes (qmpqm0126m000)

Use this session to create and maintain the allowed disposition codes for the item. This session allows you to define the disposition criteria and procedure for the item.

Note: You can view this session only if the Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) check box is selected in the Quality Management Parameters (qmptc0100m000) session.

Field Information

Disposition Code: The code of the disposition for the item.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Rework (to Existing Specification): If this check box is selected, the item is reworked if any quality issue is found. The item code does not change after rework.
Rework (to New Specification): If this check box is selected, the item is reworked if any quality issue is found. But the item code changes after rework.
Reclassify: If this check box is selected, the reclassification disposition process is allowed for the item code.
Return to Vendor: If this check box is selected, the item is returned to vendor if rejected in quality inspections.
Scrap: If this check box is selected, the item is scrapped if rejected in quality inspections.
Use as Is: If this check box is selected, the item is to be used irrespective of the any quality rejections.
No Fault Found: If this check box is selected, the item is used only if no fault is found in the quality inspections.
