Advance Export

Distribution of data is essential for a cross-enterprise collaboration.

For example, the data can be sent to a business partner that a company works with, such as a supplier, manufacturer, customer, or other PLM systems in a multisite or distributed database scenario.

The Advance Exporting functionality enables you to:

• Export the data to your business partners.
• Specify the format in which the data is sent to business partner and which data they receive.
• Post the data to PartnerNet.
• Export the data to Excel.

The PLM objects that can be exported:

• Item
• Document
• Folder
