Thumbnail Locations

By default, thumbnails are saved in the %TMP%/ Thumbnails or %CFE_CLIENT_HOME_%\temp\ Thumbnails folder. To change the folder, modify the variable value of the PLM_SW_THUMBNAIL_GEN_ DIR environment variable.

Note: Thumbnails are deleted from the local system when you close the SolidWorks application.
