Business Process Defaults

In PLM, a business process is an object that accompanies a company procedure and is associated with a workflow. PLM supports a wide range of business processes. The PLM administrator defines the business process types and workflow for every organization, for example, Engineering Change Order, New Product Introduction and so on. When the business process is launched, it progresses along the route defined in the workflow.

The workflow steps are performed automatically for the linked objects. Every time a task is reached, the task is added to the task list of the user or group assigned to the task.

The business process default template is used to create default data for the business process. You can maintain default data for the business process in theBusiness Process Defaults (pdadm5158m000) session. Business process attributes can be defined using these tabs. Attributes are specifications or features defined for an object (Business process).
