Controlling Document Revisions
The Integration provides revision control by physically transferring the original file
into the vault and handling the revisions via the documents that are the PLM representation of
the physical Microsoft Office files.
When you want to edit a file that is checked in, you must first check it out from the PLM vault (this creates a new revision of the file). For more information, see:
