R75000 – Central Job Management

Typically, each company stores its own basic job data. Therefore, a job runs for a particular company.

In a job, you can also run sessions in more than one company. You can run sessions in multiple companies when the job data tables of the associated companies are physically mapped to a single main company. For this purpose, the tables from this table set must be shared.

This functionality can only be used if the tables from table set R002 are shared as well.

Extensibility and table sharing

Just like the regular application tables, you can share the tables used in an extension. Extensions are available in the tx module. It depends on the extension whether you can share these tables, or whether it is useful to share these tables. Therefore, sharing these tables is the responsibility of the user.

You must use the Table Sharing Modeler to share these tables, which will also verify the references between all tables, including the tx tables.

Note:

If you share a tx table, a message is displayed saying that sharing this table is not allowed. If you are sure that you can share this table, you can click OK in the message dialog.
