Scope
The standard APP-III-A and APP-III-B export definitions include the standard configuration objects and configuration object sets that are currently available. Please refer to the spreadsheet attached to KB article 2271146 for details.
This topic provides some specific scope and future scope details.
Common
The standard APP-III-A export definition contains Common based configuration data such as multiple classifications, addresses, company data, enterprise structure components, items, and taxation master data.
The APP-III-B export definition contains configuration objects for business partners and related data.
Financials
A large part of the master data is included in the APP-III-A export definition. This data relates to the main modules:
- General Ledger
- Cash Management
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
This includes data such as charts of accounts, dimensions, transaction types, and bank data.
The business partner related master data, as well as the master data of other Financials modules is included in the APP-III-B export definition.
Integration mapping schemes and related data is excluded from the configuration data, because standard initialization, export, and import functionality is available for this data.
Invoicing
The APP-III-A export definition contains the largest part of the Invoicing master data. The business partner related master data is included in the APP-III-B export definition.
Warehousing
A basic set of Warehousing configuration objects, required by other configuration objects for referential integrity, is included in the APP-III-A export definition. Other basic master data, including warehouses, is part of the APP-III-B export definition.
Other Warehousing master data will become available in a future release.
