Intrastat TStat (GEMS) adoption

Intrastat reporting fills the gap left by the withdrawal in 1993 of customs reporting on the movement of goods within the European Union.

This enables governments and the EU track between countries for statistical purposes. This includes the details, such as the Description of the Goods, Commodity Codes, Quantity and Value of the Goods, Delivery Terms, Country of Departure and Arrival and any Shipping Costs among others.

With the Intrastat TStat (GEMS) Adoption for Croatia, LN generates a generic Intrastat report in XML format, which is then communicated to the Infor Localization Services Platform (LSP) for transformation.

The Intrastat record will be created once goods have been shipped or received from/to two different EU countries. The Intrastat record can be found in the Intrastat Transactions (tccom7171m000) session, located under Common / Taxation / EU Intrastat.

Processing an Intrastat Record:
  • Select Common > Taxation > EU Intrastat > Process Intrastat Transaction. The Process Intrastat Transactions (tccom7271m000) session is displayed.
Note: This session can also be accessed using the Process Intrastat Transactions option in the Intrastat Transactions (tccom7171m000) session.
  • Specify the required data to generate the Intrastat record in xml format. Move the generic Intrastat XML document to a directory in the server that is used by the LCL_TStat_TradeStatistics document flow for conversion.
