Credit Note Link
If the accounts receivable (ACR) document is not paid in Financials, this document must be linked to the credit note generated by the return process.
To link the credit note with the ACR document:
For that, use a transaction type of sales correction category and subcategory assign credit note.
- Click Transaction Types tab in the Transactions (tfgld1101m000) session. on the
- Select Transaction Type field. (with a of and a of ) in the
- Click ARA transaction type. The Business Partner – Credit Notes – Search window is displayed. related to the
- Verify that Business Partner – Document is selected in the Search by field, specify the data in the Business Partner, Transaction Type, and the Document fields and click . The Business Partner – Credit Notes (tfacr2120m000) session is displayed with the credit notes created for the business partner.
- Select the credit note and click Select Credit Note Schedules for Assignment (tfacr2125m000) session is displayed. . The
- Select the schedule and click Link Credit Note Schedules to Invoice Schedules (tfacr2127m000) session is displayed. . The
- Specify the invoice amount in the Linked Amount in Invoice Currency field, select the invoice and click . The Document Numbers (tfacr2114s000) session is displayed.
- Specify the series code in the Document Series and click . The document is created and the assignment is created that links the credit note to the invoice schedule.
- Repeat the steps 5 – 8 for the second credit note that is created.
- Select the ARA transaction line on the Transaction Types tab in the Transactions (tfgld1101m000) and click .
- Review and close the generated journal reports.
- Select the business partner in the Accounts Receivable 360 (tfacr2560m000) session and click in the Receipts section. The Invoices/Documents by Receipt-related Documents (tfacr6501m000) session is displayed.
- Verify that the balance is finalized and Balance (Home Currency) displays 0.00 for the transactions.
