Configuration Exports (ttdcm0560m000)

Use this session to run, add, duplicate, delete, and update configuration exports.

To export configuration data, the configuration export must include configuration object sets.

To limit the data volume of the export, you can specify the companies to which the data is to be exported and select the configuration object instances to be included in the export.

Configuration object sets are added to a configuration export in the Configuration Object Sets by Configuration Export (ttdcm0561m000) session.

The configuration object companies to which the data is to be exported are specified for a configuration export in the Configuration Object Companies by Configuration Export (ttdcm0562m000) session.

Configuration object instances are selected for a configuration export in the Configuration Object Instances by Configuration Export (ttdcm0563m000) session.

The export runs that have been performed for a configuration export are displayed in the Runs by Configuration Export (ttdcm0564m000) session.

When a configuration export is duplicated, the configuration export runs are not copied.

Actions

These options are available:

Validate
Validates the selected configuration export and prints a report.

These validations are performed:

  • Missing configuration object instances by configuration export.
  • Empty main tables of table-based configuration objects.
  • Whether the configuration object of a selected configuration object instance is part of one of the configuration export sets of the configuration export. It validates also whether the configuration object is active within the configuration object set.
  • A check is done, for record-based configuration objects, for the root table of a record-based configuration object to find the physical company. If the physical company is different from the configuration data company, the physical company must be included in the set of configuration data companies. If not, a validation error is printed.
