Configuration Object (ttdcm0501m100)

Use this session to view and maintain the details of a configuration object.

The upper part of the session window shows the properties of the configuration object.

The lower part of the session window shows the Tables (ttdcm0502m000) satellite session. This session shows the tables for the configuration object.

Field Information

Configuration Object

The code of the configuration object.

Type

The configuration object type.

The object type is used to logically categorize configuration objects.

Instance Session

The session in which you can select the instances of the configuration object that you want to export or import.

Object DLL

The DLL of the object. This field is only relevant for object-based configuration objects.

Share Instances of CO

The configuration object whose instances you can share with the current configuration object.

When defining a configuration export, for each configuration object included in the export, you can select the instances to be exported.

If you specify a configuration object with which to share instances, you can select instances from the current configuration object and the shared configuration object.

You can select instances for a configuration object in the Configuration Export Overview (ttdcm0563m100) session, which you can start in the Configuration Exports (ttdcm0560m000) session.

Is Enabled

You can use this check box to, temporarily, disable configuration change management for an individual configuration object.

Caution:

Disabling a configuration object may cause differences between source and target systems. Therefore, you should only disable configuration objects in exceptional cases.

Data in Tools Company

This field indicates whether data in company 000 is exported when you perform an export of the configuration object.

If this check box is selected, data in company 000, and data in the other configuration data companies, is exported.

If this check box is cleared, only data in the other configuration data companies is exported.

Only Data in Tools Company

If this check box is selected, only data in company 000 is exported when you perform an export of the configuration object.

If this check box is cleared, data in all configuration data companies is exported when you perform an export of the configuration object.

User

The user who created the configuration object.

Date and Time

The date and time the configuration object was created.

Last Update

The user who last changed the configuration object.

Last Change Date

The date and time the configuration object was last modified.
