Registered Tables with Multi Language Fields (ttadv4137m000)

Use this session to register tables that contain fields, which can store application data in multiple Data Languages.

Note:

After you registered a table, you must run the Registered Multi Language Fields (ttadv4138m000) session to specify the Multilanguage Fields. To start this session, double-click a table, or select a table, and on the appropriate menu, select Registered Multi Language Fields.

See Multilanguage application data (CE).

Actualizing the changes

To actualize the changes to runtime, on the appropriate menu, select Convert to Runtime. The Convert to Runtime Data Dictionary (ttadv5215m000) session starts. Follow the instructions described in the online help of that session.

Field Information

Package Combination

The Package combination the tables are registered for.

Package

The package code of the table.

Table

The code of the module to which the table belongs.

Table

The identification code of the table.

Enabled

If this check box is selected, the table is registered as a table that contains Multilanguage Fields.

Note: You must specify the Multilanguage Fields in the Registered Multi Language Fields (ttadv4138m000) session.
All Data Languages Always Available

If this check box is selected, all languages are read for records from this table.

You can only clear this check box if the application feature pack is high enough.

The All Data Languages Always Available setting is saved in the data dictionary of the table. Therefore, after a change in this setting, a conversion to runtime for tables is required.

Note: If all data languages are always available, this might result in reduced performance in sessions with multilanguage fields.
