Table Field Physical References (ttadv4129m000)
Use this session to specify the reference fields for which the reference must be checked in the physical company. For reference fields that are not specified in this session, the reference will be checked in the user's current company.
Example
There are two tables, A and B, and two companies, 100 and 200. Table B has a reference to table A. Table A is not shared and physically exists in company 100 and 200. Table B is shared and physically exists in company 100 only.
By default, references are checked in the user's current company. For example, a user works in company 200; to check the reference from table B to table A, table A is accessed in company 200.
If the reference field of table B is specified in this session, and the Physical Reference check box is selected, the physical company is used to check the reference; that is: to check the reference from table B to table A, table A is accessed in company 100.
