Export Personalizations (ttaad7201m000)

Use this session to export miscellaneous types of configuration data. The format of the generated export file(s) is XML.

You can also create an additional file. Infor uses additional files if branch-specific sets of data are developed, which must be released to customers. You can import the generated export file(s) through the Import Personalizations (ttaad7202m000) session.

This session is of the wizard type. The session provides assistance to the user. If no specific range is selected, this session contains only one dialog box. For a personalization type of data, you can select a specific range, and additional dialog boxes are displayed with the selection options. The Next, Previous, and Finish buttons navigate you through the process. The buttons are enabled or disabled according to the Specific selection on the startup dialog box.

The selection options can differ for each type.

Click Finish to start the actual export process. Based on the specified selection (range) for each data type, an export of the configuration data is run.

During the process, a progress indicator is displayed and the successful or failed result of the process is displayed to the user.

Only the configuration data itself is exported; for the personalization part only the content of the ttadv900 table is exported. Reference data is not included in the export. The export results in one archive file, it depends on which output- and additional file name is specified.

Any errors that occur or information about records during the export process are printed on the Configuration Data Error report (ttaad720111000). The last printed line on the report informs the user whether the export has succeeded or failed. In LN UI the report, by default, is printed to screen.

The Add to Job option is available in this session. Existing output files in the job Export Personalizations are overwritten.
