WebUI Print Settings (ttaad3108m000)
Use this session to specify settings that will be used when Infor Ming.le or Web UI users print a report.

Field Information
- Display Device type

The output format for data that is printed to a device of type Display.
Allowed values
HTML output If you use Web UI, reports are displayed in HTML format. If you use LN UI, reports are always displayed in PDF format. PDF output Reports are displayed in PDF format. The PDF report is displayed in a new session tab of the application panel.
If the end user has the PDF plugin's preference set to NOT display the PDF in the browser, the report is displayed in the Acrobat Reader. However, the application panel has an empty tab. To avoid this, select PDF output in new window.
PDF output in new window Reports are displayed in PDF format. The PDF report is displayed in a new browser window.
- Printer Selection Embedded in Dialogs

This setting only applies to Infor Ming.le.
If this check box is selected, a printer selection tab or field group is added to all sessions with window type Dialog and session type Print or Update + Print.

Field Description Name This is a listbox with all local printers that are defined on the client. The list also contains these additional printers: -
Advanced Device
If users select this device, the ‘classic’ Select Device (ttstpsplopen) dialog is displayed and all special devices can be used.

Preview Device
Does the same as the
button. Users can use this option to save/get defaults.
Status These fields are optional: in this session you can specify whether these fields are displayed in the printer selection tab or field group. Type Where Comment The printer selection tab is always the first tab of the form. The other fields, groups, or tabs start on the second tab. When a session starts, the second tab is displayed.
Users can overrule the Printer Selection Embedded in Dialogs setting, through the INFOR_EPG environment variable. If this variable is set to OFF, the printer selection is not added to the sessions.

- External Reporting Type

If external reporting is used, specify whether the report server is a Microsoft SSRS or an Infor Reporting server.
If you specify an external reporting type, the external report design will be used if such a design is present on the report server that is linked to the Default Device.
- Default Device

Specify the default device for external reporting.
You can only specify a default device if you selected a reporting type in the External Reporting Type field. The "–server" parameter in the Argument field of the device definition must refer to a report server of the selected reporting type.
- Preview Device

Specify the device to be used for preview of native ERP Enterprise reports. Select a device of type Screen or Windows Printer.

Specify the default local printer device.

If this check box is selected, the printer type is displayed in the embedded printer selection tab or group. See Printer Selection Embedded in Dialogs.
- Display Printer Status

If this check box is selected, the printer status is displayed in the embedded printer selection tab or group. See Printer Selection Embedded in Dialogs.
- Display Printer Location

If this check box is selected, the printer location is displayed in the embedded printer selection tab or group. See Printer Selection Embedded in Dialogs.

Select the default printer.
Allowed values
Preview A report will be displayed in the browser. For External reports, the External Report Viewer is activated. For non-external reports, the report is sent to the Display device, either HTML or PDF, depending on the system setting. Default Printer of Client By default, reports are printed on the client's default printer.
