Field Relations (Export) (daxch0532m000)

Use this session to list the available relations between logical ASCII files fields and LN table fields per batch in an exchange scheme.

Use the Create Default Export Field Relations on the appropriate menu to create the field relations automatically. Use this option if the definition file of the LN table is not available.

TIP

Ensure that the code of the LN table is the same as the code of the ASCII file table if you want to create the field relations automatically.

Note: The relation on table level is created in the Table Relations (Export) (daxch0531m000) session.

Field Information

Exchange Scheme

The exchange scheme code.

The exchange scheme is created in the Exchange Schemes (daxch0501m000) session.

Batch

The batch code in an exchange scheme.

A batch is created in the Batches (daxch0104m000) session.

Exp. Table Rel.

A sequential number that identifies the table relation. It makes the table relation unique in the batch.

Table

The code of the table in LN that contains the data that will be exported into an ASCII file during an export.

The LN table is specified in the Table Relations (Export) (daxch0531m000) session.

ASCII File

The code of the ASCII file that contains data from the LN table during an export.

To generate the field relations automatically, it is necessary that the code of the ASCII file is the same as the code of the LN table. This is an option if you do not have a data definition file of the ASCII file.

The ASCII file is specified in the Table Relations (Export) (daxch0531m000) session.

Note: The ASCII file code represents the logical ASCII file and it is created in the ASCII Files (daxch0102m000) session.

Serial No.

The serial number that makes the field relation unique in the table relation. The serial number is only used as an identifier and does not have to be sequential.

ASCII Field

The code of the ASCII file field that will be filled with data that is read from a field in the LN table during an export procedure.

Note: The ASCII file code represents the logical ASCII file. It is created in the ASCII Files (daxch0102m000) session.
Table Field

The code of the field in a LN table that contains the data that will be exported into an ASCII file field during an export procedure.

Array Element

The element number of an array field. This field is only applicable if the LN field is defined as an array field in the data dictionary.

The elements in an array can be filled individually.

Note: The element number cannot exceed the array depth.
Condition

Enter a condition code.

The export of data depends on the return value of this condition. If the return value of the condition is true, the data of the LN table is put into an ASCII file.

Note:
  • Conditions are also used during exchanges based on audit.
  • If the export is not based on audit, it is advisable to use a range instead of a condition, if possible, to improve performance.

Constant

The constant that is used the to fill the ASCII file field.

Table Relations Text

If this check box is selected, additional information is added to the field relation. The text is maintained in the text editor.
