Tasks (dmchm0140s000)

Use this session to create tasks for a change proposal.

The task is an action linked to the change proposal that implements the change. Each task execution involves time and cost.

The details window has estimated, actual, and user data group boxes. When you define a task, only the Estimated group box field is available. When the task is performed, you can enter values in the fields in the Actual group box and the Estimated group box fields are unavailable.

Task

The task that acts as a task identifier. The task is generated automatically if a mask is defined for tasks object. If a mask is not defined, you can manually enter the value.

Note: The ERP Administrator can define an object mask that automatically increments the task identifier for every newly created task.
Description

The description or name of the code.

Responsible

Select a role that is responsible for the task implementation. Click the browse arrow to select the responsible person for this task from the Roles (tcppl0160m000) session.

Start Date

Enter an estimated start date to execute the task. The UTC date and time format is used.

Start Date

Enter an actual start date to execute the task. The UTC date and time format is used.

Duration

Enter an estimated duration, in days, for task implementation.

Based on this value, the finish date is updated. For example, if you enter 10, the duration is 10 days.

Finish Date

The estimated finish date for task implementation. The finish date is estimated from the entered start date and duration values.

Estimated Finish Date = Estimated Start Date + Duration.

Finish Date

The actual finish date for the implementation of the task. The actual finish date is based on the actual start date and duration values.

Actual Finish Date = Actual Start Date + Duration.

Cost

Enter the estimated cost to implement the task.

Status

The task status.

Created By

The ERP user login ID of the user who creates the task.

Creation Date

The UTC date and time format when the task is created.

Modification Date

The UTC date and time when the user modifies a particular task.
