Delete Serials by Warehouse (whltc5200m000)

Use this session to remove serialized items from LN.

You can only delete serialized items:

  • For which the Serials in Inventory check box in the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4600m000) session is selected.
  • Which are no longer in inventory (on-hand, on-hold, allocated, or on-order). To verify this, use the Item - Serials and Warehouses (whltc5100m000) session.
  • For which no cycle-count order lines are present. To verify this, use the Cycle Counting Order Lines (whinh5101m000) session.
Note: To remove related serial tracking data, select the Delete Serial Tracking check box.

Field Information

Serial Origin

The origin for which you want to delete serialized items.

Delete Serial Tracking

If this check box is selected, serial tracking for the selected serialized items will no longer be possible.

If this check box is selected, a report is printed of the deleted serialized items.

Print Serial Text

If this check box is selected, the texts that are linked to the deleted serialized items are printed.

Print Error Report

If this check box is selected, a report is printed of the serialized items, in the specified ranges, that cannot be deleted.

The reasons why a serialized item is not deleted are:

  • The serialized item is still in inventory (on-hand, on-hold, allocated, or on-order). To verify this, use the Item - Serials and Warehouses (whltc5100m000) session.
  • Cycle-count order lines are present for the serialized item. To verify this, use the Cycle Counting Order Lines (whinh5101m000) session.
