The quantity that is blocked for one of the following:

  • Inspection of received items.
  • Inspection of items to be issued.
  • Inspection of items in inventory
  • Rejected items.
Note:  Process Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit cannot overlap the Manually Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit and Allocated Quantity in Storage Unit.
Manually Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit

The quantity that is manually blocked in one of the following sessions:

  • Zone/Location Blocking (whwmd6110m000) or Global Zone/Location Blocking (whwmd6210m000). You can only block entire locations.
  • Lot Blocking (whwmd6120m000). You can only block entire lots.
  • Stock Point Blocking (whwmd6130m000). You can block stockpoints entirely or partially.

If the stockpoint is partially blocked, LN retrieves the Manually Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit from the Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit field in the Stock Point Blocking (whwmd6130m000) session.

If the stockpoint is fully blocked, the Manually Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit is equal to the difference between Inventory in Storage Unit and Process Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit.

Note: The Manually Blocked Quantity in Storage Unit can overlap the Allocated Quantity in Storage Unit.
Available Quantity in Storage Unit

The quantity of the item inventory in the packaging level that is available for production or sales or for other issues, expressed in the storage unit.

LN calculates the Available Quantity in Storage Unit quantity as follows:

Inv. available = inv. on hand (st. unit) - (manually blocked in st. unit + process blocked in st. unit + allocated)
Available Quantity in Inventory Unit

The quantity of the item inventory in the packaging level that is available for production or sales or for other issues, expressed in the inventory unit.

LN calculates the Available Quantity in Inventory Unit as follows:

Inv. available in inv. unit = inv. available * conversion factor

The conversion factor between the storage unit and the inventory unit is specified in the Conversion Factors (tcibd0103m000) session.

Available non-HU Inventory

The quantity of the item inventory in the packaging level for which no handling units are defined and that is available for production or sales or for other issues, expressed in the inventory unit.
