Update Budget Status (tpptc2201m000)

Use this session to update the budget status of selected elements, activities and their budget lines or surcharges, for the selected range of projects.

Field Information

Selection Range

Project: The From and To fields define a range of: the projects.
Plan: The From and To fields define a range of: the plans.

Structure Range

Elements: If this check box is selected, you can update the budget status for selected elements for the specified range of projects.
Elements: The From and To fields define a range of: elements.
Activities: If this check box is selected, you can update the budget status for selected activities for the specified range of projects.
Activities: The From and To fields define a range of: activities.

Include Status Final

If this check box is selected, the budget lines with status set to Final are also included in the budget update.

New Budget Status

The new budget status for the elements, activities and surcharges.

Free: You can modify all the data.
Actual: You can modify the budget data and generate the control data. You can also log the budget history.
Final: You cannot modify the budget data. You can only add or modify the budget lines using a budget adjustment. You can also log the actual budget history.

Reports

Process Report

If this check box is selected, LN prints the process report for the selected range of data.

By default, this checkbox is selected.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, LN prints the error report for the selected range of data.

Sundry Cost

The From and To fields define a range of: sundry costs that must be linked to the project for which the budget status must be updated.

Project Surcharges

Cost Surcharges by Project: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the project in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Project (tpptc0525m000) session to update the budget status.
Cost Surcharges by Cost Type: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the project in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Cost Type (tpptc0526m000) session to update the budget status.
Cost Surcharges by Cost Component: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the project in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Cost Component (tpptc0527m000) session.
Cost Surcharges by Cost Object: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the project at the cost object level.
Item: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the project items in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Material (tpptc0520m000) session to update the budget status.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Cost Surcharges by Cost Object check box is selected.
From and To Item: The From and To fields define a range of: the project items for which the budget status must be updated.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Item check box is selected.
Labor: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the labor cost object in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Labor (tpptc0521m000) session to update the budget status.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Cost Surcharges by Cost Object check box is selected.
Labor: The From and To fields define a range of: the labor cost objects for which the budget status must be updated. The labor cost objects are defined in the Tasks (tppdm0511m000) or Project Tasks (tppdm6511m000) sessions.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Labor check box is selected.
Equipment: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the equipment cost object in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Equipment (tpptc0522m000) session to update the budget status.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Cost Surcharges by Cost Object check box is selected.
Equipment: The From and To fields define a range of: the equipment cost objects for which the budget status must be updated. The equipment cost objects are defined in the Equipment (tppdm0512m000) or Project Equipment (tppdm6512m000) sessions.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Equipment check box is selected.
Subcontracting: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the subcontracting cost object in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Subcontracting (tpptc0523m000) sessions to update the budget status.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Cost Surcharges by Cost Object check box is selected.
Subcontracting: The From and To fields define a range of: the subcontracting cost objects for which the budget status must be updated. The subcontracting cost objects are defined in the Subcontracting (tppdm0513m000) or Project Subcontracting sessions.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Subcontracting check box is selected.
Sundry Cost: If this check box is selected, you can include the sundry costs linked to the sundry cost object in the Budget Cost Surcharges by Sundry Cost (tpptc0524m000) session to update the budget status.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Cost Surcharges by Cost Object check box is selected.
Sundry Cost: The From and To fields define a range of: the sundry cost objects for which the budget status must be updated. The sundry cost objects are defined in the Sundry Costs (tppdm0514m000) or Project Sundry Costs (tppdm6514m000) sessions.
