Service Order Links by Project
Project

The code that uniquely identifies the project to which the service order /service order activity line is linked.

Description

The description or name of the code..

Project Status

The project status.

Service Order

The service order linked to the project.

Activity Line

The service order activity line number.

Plan

The code that uniquely identifies the plan to which the activity is linked.

Activity

The code that uniquely identifies the activity linked to the service order.

Element

The code of the element linked to the service order.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Status of Link

The status of the service order link.

The status can be one of the following:

  • Free

    The status is Free when the service order activity line has the status Free or Planned.
  • Actual

    The status is Actual when the service order activity line has the status Released.
  • Final

    The status is Final when the service order activity line has the status Costed or Closed.
Budget
Budget Line

The element or activity budget line number.

Cost Component

The cost component associated with the cost object.

Monitoring
Budget Quantity

The quantity of the cost object specified on the element or activity budget line.

Budget Unit

The unit in which the budgeted quantity of the cost object is measured.

Actual Quantity

The actual quantity of the cost object specified on the element or activity budget line based on the cost transactions in Project .

Budget Amount

The amount of the cost object specified on the element or activity budget line.

Note: Budget Amount = Net quantity * Unit Cost
Currency

The currency in which the amount is expressed.

Actual Amount

The actual amount of the cost object specified on the element or activity budget line based on the cost transactions in Project .

Service Order
Service order Planned (Start Date)

The planned start date of the service order.

Note: For projects structured based on elements, the Start Date in the Elements (tpptc1100m000) session is considered to plan the order start date of the service order (activity).
Service order Planned (Finish Date)

The planned date of completion of the service order.

Order Status
Planned

When you plan a service order by means of the Service Order Resource Planning (tssoc2260m000) session, the service order status changes from Free to Planned.

Released

Under this status the service engineer carries out the service order. You can change the service order's status to Released when you plan the service order by means of the Service Order Resource Planning (tssoc2260m000) session, or when you choose Release on the appropriate menu in the Service Order session.

Completed

The status of service orders that are successfully carried out. To change a service order's status from Released to Completed, choose Complete on the appropriate menu in the Service Order session. The service order is then removed from the planning system.

Costed

The status of financially approved service orders. To change a service order's status to Costed (only possible if the status is Released or Completed), choose Cost on the appropriate menu in the Service Order session.

Note: Before you change the status to Costed, make sure that all the service order's actual cost lines are entered, and financially approved.
Closed

You can change a service order's status from Costed to Closed by means of the Close Service Orders (tssoc2201m000) session. Service orders with the status Closed cannot have their data changed.

Canceled

You can cancel service orders of status Planned, or Released, by means of the Cancel Service Order (tssoc2204m000) session, but only if all the activities linked to the service orders have the status Planned or Released and have no actual costs booked.

Note: If costs are already invoiced (cost line status is Costed or Posted to Finance), you cannot change the status of the service order and its related activities to Canceled.
Rejected
Free

The status when you first define a service order.

Service Activity Planned (Start Date)

The planned start date of the service activity.

Note: For projects structured based on elements, the Start Date in the Elements (tpptc1100m000) session is considered to plan the activity start date of the service order (activity).
Service Activity Planned (Finish Date)

The planned date of completion of the service activity.

Activity Line Status

The status of the service order activity.

Cost Type Service

The cost type applicable for the service order.

Allowed values

Note: 
  • You cannot modify the value.
  • If this field is set to Rental, the Cost Type Project field is set to Equipment.
