Use this session to maintain material cost forecasts for the project. These values are used to compute forecast amounts in control enquiries and report sessions.

Description

Cost Component

The code of the cost component.

Note: You can only specify a cost component for which the Component Type is set to Detail or Collect in the Cost Components (tcmcs0148m000) session.

Currency

The currency specified for the cost object.

Note: This field is disabled if the Final Rate checkbox is selected.

Unit Cost

The standard cost of the item per unit.

Note:

This field is enabled only if you specify the value in the Forecast Quantity field.
This field is disabled if the Final Rate checkbox is selected.

Final Rate

If this check box is selected, the Unit Cost is considered as the final cost rate.

Note:

If the forecast amount is modified with the Final Rate checkbox cleared, Infor LN recalculates the Unit Cost.
If the forecast amount is modified with the Final Rate checkbox selected, Infor LN recalculates the forecast quantity.

Currency Rate/Rate Factor

The currency rate.

Rate Factor

The rate factor.

Text

Indicates if text is present.

Cost

Budget: The total amount of the material that is budgeted for the element or the activity.
Budget Quantity: The total quantity of the material that is budgeted for the element or the activity.
Earned Value: The earned value.
Physical Progress: The physical progress percentage.
Actual: The actual cost of the material cost.
Quantity: The actual quantity of the material specified on the cost line.

Forecast

Forecast Quantity: The forecasted material quantity.
Unit: The unit in which the forecast material quantity is expressed.
Cost Amount: The total forecasted cost amount for the material.
Cost Amount (Home Currency): The total forecasted cost amount for the material that is expressed in home currency.

Note: This value is defaulted from the Unit Cost field.
Home Currency: The home currency code.
Estimated Extra Costs: The additional amount over the estimated budget amount.

Note: This field is visible only if the Leading Forecast Method field is set to Estimated Extra Costs, in the Project Accounting Parameters (tpppc0100s000) session.
Estimate to Complete: The estimated cost to complete the activity.

Note: This field is visible only if the Leading Forecast Method field is set to Estimate to Complete, in the Project Accounting Parameters (tpppc0100s000) session.
Estimate at Completion: The estimated cost at the project completion.

Note: This field is visible only if the Leading Forecast Method field is set to Estimate at Completion, in the Project Accounting Parameters (tpppc0100s000) session.
Approved: If this check box is selected, the forecasted material cost is approved. Only the approved cost forecast reports are considered for cost control and interim results.

Note: After the forecasted amount is approved, you cannot modify the forecast data.

Variance

Variance: The actual cost variance of the material cost.
Forecast Variance: The forecasted cost variance of the material cost.
