Archive Projects (tppdm7820m000)

Use this session to delete or archive project data. Use the options to specify the type of archive data. You can also select the type or ranges of data that must be deleted, operation that you must perform, and the range of data that you must include. The archive company to which the company data must be archived can also be specified.

Deleting outdated project data helps limit data growth and improves system performance. See: Delete and archive Project order data.

Field Information

Project

The From and To fields define a range of: projects for which data must be archived or deleted.

Original Company

The current company from which the data must be archived.

Company Name

The name of the company.

Archive-to Company

The archive company to which the company data is archived.

Company Name

The name of the company.

Run Type

The data to archive, delete, or both.

Allowed values

Delete Only

Deletes the selected data.

Archive Only

The selected data up to a specified date is saved by copying the data to an archiving company.

Archive and Delete

The selected data is copied to an archiving company and deleted.

Common Master Data

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes the common master data in the archive operation.

Project Master Data

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes the project master data in the archive operation.

General Project Data

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes the general project data in the archive operation.

Budget

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes the budget data in the archive operation.

Estimating

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes the estimate data in the archive operation.

Budget History

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes budget history data in the archive operation.

Planning

If this check box is selected, Infor LN includes planning data in the archive operation.

Cost Registration

If this check box is selected, Infor LN also archives the cost registration details from Project Progress .

History

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deletes the history data.

Archive Text

If this check box is selected, Infor LN also archives the associated text.

Overwrite Text

If this check box is selected, texts that already exist in the archive company are replaced by the original text

General Project Data

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deletes the general project data.

Budget

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deleted the project budget data.

Estimating

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deletes the project estimate data.

Purchase Budget

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deletes the purchase budget data.

Planning

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deletes the planning data.

Cost Registration

If this check box is selected, Infor LN deletes the cost registration data.

Print Archived Projects

If this check box is selected, you can generate a report that indicates the projects that are archived in this session.

Print Deleted Projects

If this check box is selected, you can generate a report that indicates the projects that are deleted in this session.
