Check Cost Object Mapping (tppdm6270m000)

Use this session to check the following:

whether a reference activity is linked to the project activity or element for a selected range of projects.
the mapping data, if defined, for the specified reference activity, in which case, the session allows you to check if the resources linked to the specific reference activities are mapped to the project cost object.

Note: LN retrieves the mapping information from the Standard Cost Object Mapping with Service (tppdm0171m000) and Project Cost Object Mapping with Service (tppdm6170m000) sessions.

Note:

The mapping functionality is applicable only for the reference activities defined for the maintenance tasks with the Activity Use of the type General and Field Service.
It is not mandatory to create a mapping for the items of the type Materials, however the Project and Service item data must be defined for the item.
If the Use Matching Task Codes check box is selected in the Project Budget Parameters (tpptc0100s000) session and no mapping exists in the Standard Cost Object Mapping with Service (tppdm0171m000) or Project Cost Object Mapping with Service (tppdm6170m000) session, LN uses the identical tasks codes (if available) in Project and Service.

Field Information

Project Selection: If this check box is selected, you can select a range of projects and activities.

Note: This field is disabled if the Reference Activity selection check box is selected.
Project: The From and To fields define a range of: projects.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Project Selection check box is selected.
Element: The From and To fields define a range of: elements.
Activity: The From and To fields define a range of: activities.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Project Selection check box is selected.
Reference Activity selection: If this check box is selected, you can select the project and reference activity, for which the mapping data must be checked.

Note: This field is disabled if the Project Selection check box is selected.
Project: The code that identifies the project.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Reference Activity selection check box is selected.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Reference Activity: The code that identifies the reference activity linked to the project activity.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Reference Activity selection check box is selected.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Only Errors: If this check box is selected, LN prints only the mapping errors between the resource linked to the reference activity and the project cost object. If this check box is cleared, LN prints the existing mapping data.
