Copy Contract (tpctm1200m000)

Use this session to copy the contract data from an existing contract to create a new contract.

Note: LN clears the value in the Project field in the Advance Payments (tppin4110m000) and Installments (tppin4151m000) session for the advances and/or installments created for the new contract line.

Source

Contract: The code of the contract from which you copy the data.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Contract Line: The number of the contract line from which you copy the data.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Sold-to Business Partner: The sold-to business partner linked to the original contract.
Description: The description or name of the code.

Target

Contract: The code of the contract to which you copy the data.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Contract Line: The number of the contract line to which you copy the data.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Sold-to Business Partner: The sold-to business partner linked to the target contract.
Description: The description or name of the code.
Sales Office: The code of the sales office.

Note:
This value is defaulted from the Sold-to Business Partner (tccom4110s000) session. If not specified, Infor LN defaults this value from the User Profile (tppdm0101s000) session. However, you can modify this value.

If the sales office specified in the Sold-to Business Partner (tccom4110s000) session is different from the sales office specified in the User Profile (tppdm0101s000) session, a notification message is displayed.
Description: The description or name of the code.

Options

Contract Lines

If this check box is selected, LN copies the contract lines to the new contract.

Deliverables

If this check box is selected, LN copies the deliverables to the new contract.

Responsibilities

If this check box is selected, LN copies the responsibilities to the new contract.

Advance Payments

If this check box is selected, LN copies the advance payment requests to the new contract.

Installments

If this check box is selected, LN copies the installments to the new contract.

Labor Rates

If this check box is selected, LN copies the labor rates to the new contract (line).

Note:

The labor rates are defined in the Specific Labor Rates (tcppl0192m000) session, using the labor rate codes defined in the Labor Rate Codes (tcppl0190m000) session.
When you copy a contract, labor rates of the contract and contract line are copied.
When you copy a contract line, only the contract line specific labor rates are copied.
In case a project is linked to the contract, the labor rates cannot be copied to the new contract if the labor rate is specified for both the contracts and the project. However, the labor rates of the contract line can be copied to a new contract line of the same contract.
