Machine workbench overview

An operator can use the Machine Workbench (tisfc8367m000) to manage the planned machine operations for the selected shift. By default, the current shift is selected.

The operator can:

  • Select work center, machine type and the machine number to view the linked machine operations.
  • Set the machine Status to Down and register the downtime if the machine breaks down.
  • Select a machine operation when the machine is up and use these options to change the status of the operation:
    • Setup
    • Run
    • Pause
    • Finish

      For each status of the operation the respective machine hours are logged in Infor LN, based on the hours reporting settings for the work center, machine type and machine

  • View the details of a machine operations

The workbench comprises of three sections:

  • Toolbar
  • Machines section
  • Machine operations section

Setting the default values

When you access the Machine Workbench for the first time, all fields are empty.

However, if you specify the Work Center, Machine Type and the Machine, and close the workbench, the last specified values are automatically saved and populated when you access the workbench next time.

To save the values manually, you can specify the Work Center, Machine Type and the Machine, and click Save Defaults. When you access the workbench next time, the saved values are set. You have to use this option to save the specified values, till Clear Defaults is clicked.

You can click Clear Defaults to reset the saved values. When you access the workbench next time, all fields are empty.

These are the available options:

  • Save Defaults: Saves the specified values. These values are displayed when you access this workbench next time.
  • Get Defaults: Populates the values that are saved.
  • Clear Defaults: Clears the saved values.
